As we close out 2013, sales of homes in Boylston rose over the previous quarter.

The median sales increased by about 7.5% which resulted in a median price for the last quarter of the year of $429,900.  The average price of homes sold during the same period was $437,900, with a total of 17 property transactions.

At the same time, we saw an increase in the average days on market, from 149 to 160 days.

During the same period, we saw a lull in the sale of condominiums as well, with 2 sales, a median of $168,000, and an average of $168,000. The days on market statistics showed a total of 32 days on market, less than that for single family properties this quarter.

As we progress further into 2013, sales of homes in Boylston fell over the previous quarter.

The median sales decreased by about 15% which resulted in a median price for the third quarter of the year of $399,900.  The average price of homes sold during the same period was $407,701, with a total of 13 property transactions.

At the same time, we saw a decrease in the average days on market, from 164 to 149 days.

As we progress further into 2013, sales of homes in Boylston rose over the previous quarter.

The median sales increased by about 2.2% which resulted in a median price for the second quarter of the year of $460,000.  The average price of homes sold during the same period was $427,872, with a total of 19 property transactions.

At the same time, we saw an increase in the average days on market, from 99 to 164 days.

At the same time, we saw an decrease in the average days on market, from 262 to 99 days.

At the same time, we saw an increase in the average days on market, from 124 to 193 days.
